Conference Dinner WICC
The conference dinner will be held in the evening of Thursday 23 April in hotel the WICC. The conference dinner is included in the ticket and will include a three course meal (starter, main and dessert), together with either an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks package. The conference dinner venue also offers accommodation. We strongly advise booking accommodation early to avoid disappointment.

Special requests? If guests wish to arrive earlier (e.g. April 21, 2026), depart later (e.g. April 25, 2026), or prefer a different room type, they can contact sales@wicc.nl, mentioning “April 2026 conference” in their message. Please note: The reservation code is valid until March 4, 2026. After this date, the reservation code will expire and reservations can only be made based on availability. The standard daily rate will then apply instead of the discount rate.

The BFDG is an international and multi-disciplinary gathering of scientists interested in all aspects of appetite, eating and drinking (see ‘About the BFDG’ for further information and history). The annual conference welcomes a wide range of academic, clinical and industry-based scientists, including those working in psychology, physiology, medicine, nutrition, food science and related disciplines. The meeting provides an ideal platform for PhD students and early career researchers to showcase their work. For students with limited access to funding, hardship scholarships will be available to cover registration costs (see ‘Hardship scholarships’ section for more information).
