The British Feeding and Drinking Group’s 51st Annual Meeting: 8th – 9th April 2027
We are delighted to invite you to attend the 2027 annual meeting of the British Feeding and Drinking Group (BFDG), which will be held in person from April 8th to April 9th at the University of Liverpool, UK.
The BFDG is an international and multi-disciplinary gathering of scientists interested in all aspects of appetite, eating and drinking (see ‘About the BFDG’ for further information and history). The annual conference welcomes a wide range of academic, clinical and industry-based scientists, including those working in psychology, physiology, medicine, nutrition, food science and related disciplines. The meeting provides an ideal platform for PhD students and early career researchers to showcase their work. For students with limited access to funding, hardship scholarships will be available to cover registration costs (see ‘Hardship Scholarships and Conference Prizes’ section for more information).
This year, the meeting is organised by the Appetite & Obesity Research Group at the University of Liverpool , with input from a local organising committee from other UK institutions. We look forward to welcoming you for an exciting programme of short talks, keynote addresses and research posters.
To avoid disappointment, make sure to register promptly before the accommodation fills up.
Online abstract submission is open until December 18th 2026 (before 23:59), with the option to select a preference for a short oral presentation or a poster. There will be an option to have the abstract published in the journal Appetite.
